Cans came crushed and six were open and leaking on everything. Amazon credited me for six open cans. However, after opening some of the rest, there were black spots on top. This should never have been sold, as I think the cans were old merchandise. Never again will I buy this product.

Up until I discovered this brand, I was prepping the dog’s food myself…I don’t give my dogs commercially prepared dog foods.

I first found this dog food in my local grocery store and was very happy to see the ingredients were really all natural. Later I was upset to discover that the grocery store stopped carrying this item. I found it on Amazon (who knew?) and ordered it at the same price and free shipping, to boot.

BTW, my dogs love it though I still add a little home cooking to it.

This food is great for all breeds (even LARGE)! My Bernese Mountain dog and two Shetland Sheepdogs all love this food…I have been feeding it to them for over 9 years now…Great stuff!

I’ve fed my little pug this dog food brand all his life. Now as a young adult I feed him 2/3 cups of food daily. He’s energetic, happy, and not over weight as pugs tend to get. He also has a very healthy and minimal stool – which is great because he is trained to use a litter box with a “permanent” type doggie pee pad (changed daily) in the bottom. Pudge is always ready to eat so, I try to give mostly healthy treats: maybe a few bites of veggies of my dinner plate and maybe a milk bone a few times a week. But he loves his Wellness and its made him a handsome, healthy little dude

Wellness Super5Mix is a high quality dog food. Yes, it costs more than the junk you can buy in Wal-Mart, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Wellness keeps my beagle regular with no indigestion or diarrhea. I’ve tried switching to cheaper brands, but they leave him gassy, listless, and constipated. My dog isn’t crazy about the taste. Of course, he’d prefer canned or, even better, table scraps. But he does eat the Wellness, and it keeps him healthy.

Highly recommended!

Got a wellness dog treat before which the dogs absolutely loved. Then i bought this dog food… very weird. None of my four dogs like it. Sniff, and go away. Regardless how good it is… if it can’t even appeal to the dogs, it means nothing. Only one of my dogs is picky about food; others love almost every brand; esp. the 1st time they try a new dog food.

Not this one. Embarrassing for me cuz I’ve opened it and can’t return it.

Jaz has food allergies that cause him to have diarrhea and gas. The Wellness Super5Mix dry dog food, chicken recipe, is the best food that I have found to control his symptoms. He eats it twice a day, with some canned food, also. No diarrhea, no gas, and his coat is super shiny!

First I will say I love most Innova Evo products and feed my three Miniature Schnauzers the chicken formula which was the original recipe.

Before I had found Evo, my Miniature Schnauzers were fed a RAW diet (aka BARF)which was great but unfortunately one of the girls started getting sick on raw chicken because of the fat content.

Innova Evo's red meat recipe came out much later than the Innova Evo's chicken formula and I decided to try it to give them a change of taste. Unfortunately two of my dogs couldn't take the change even though I did it on a very gradual reduction of Innova Evo's chicken formula to Innova Evo's red meat formula.

Any little amount of the Innova Evo's red meat formula (10% Innova Evo's Red Meat to 90% Innova Evo's Chicken) gave two of my Schnauzers bad diarrhea after eating it and after a week of trying to convert them all gradually I decided that it wasn't worth it and took it to back to the store where I purchased it from and they allowed me to trade it for the chicken formula. I placed all of my Schnauzers back on Innova Evo's chicken formula and they were fine.

I don't know why Innova Evo's Red Meat formula caused two of my Miniature Schnauzers diarrhea (each time I fed them this) but I don't think it's the red meat, I think it's what ever else is mixed in with the red meat which may have caused it or perhaps I just had a bad batch.

The reason I believe this is because I have given all three Schnauzers meaty beef neck bones before in the past and they were fine.

Whatever it is I'm not going to try Innova's EVO Red Meat formula again and take my chance.

I tried 20 different dog foods for my Maltese that are prone to allergies.

With this food they get to eat less and maintain their optimum weight.

The Maltese stopped scratching and biting himself. I have read on many web sites that the Evo diet is the best in the world. My Maltese and my Golden Retriever maintained there ideal weight and their coats were beautiful.

The food is a bit more expensive than the junk food with all the fillers but my dogs are worth it. With a little research you can find it at great prices.

The main thing is if you have any dog with allergies this will cure it.

Started buying this product 4 months ago after the whole “Canidae” issue (Im sure that I am not the only one who noticed what the “new and improved” Canidae formula did to their dog). Anyways, took no time for my lab to get adjusted to this food; looks and acts just like he did before. Very happy to have found a great alternative.
